"We arrived on holiday to find the new terminal building open. Clean bright and sparkling, not what we expected having heard previous horror stories from friends. Anyway checking thru arrivals was quick and easy and we were very quickly on the coach to our hotel.
The departure was equally problem free, fast check-in, in fact only about 15 mins from arrival at the lobby to the bags being taken and loaded, then we went upstairs to the duty free/food area. We were very impressed at the quality and presentation of the food on offer in the cafe style area. Being true Brits we had fish/chips and a coke (5) and were very happy with the meal. The duty free shops were well stocked, but unfortunately only 50 of them were in use as the terminal had only been open for 6 weeks and was still being stocked and made ready. Toilets were clean and bright with the usual local guy following you around hoping for a tip, bit off putting being watched!
Overall its a nice clean and friendly airport and although small it rates highly on my list and I would certainly recommend it to anyone. Well done Luxor you are an example of how it should be done!"
