SALOU,
Spain (Contributed by Jordan) "1999 - There is no real need to sleep here at Salou unless you
decided to travel with more than just your carry-on luggage. Once you
disembark your flight, you are invited to walk the three kilometres over
the scorching tarmac to the terminal to collect your luggage. Despite the
miracles of science, luggage is still unable to walk on its own and as
such takes almost two hours to make it to collection. This might be a good
chance to sleep off all that booze you drank during the flight, but the
only available room is shared with check-in desks, party goers, nasty
looking restaurants and a jungle of plastic plants. However the toilets
are clean and quiet, so if you're really struggling, you could wait for
you luggage in there in there. " Added 18 JAN 03
