""Daegu is one of those rare airports where you can still walk in 10 minutes before your flight takes off and still make the flight...Except that I missed my Korean Air flight to Bangkok and ended up having to get some shuteye. Turns out there are only two Bangkok flights a week, thus I had to wait for the remainder of the night for a flight to Incheon to get to Bangkok. I must say the benches are nice, flat, and ideal for sleeping. It is a bit bright in the departure area upstairs, so if you are so serious for a nap, go to the arrivals area. There are FREE internet terminals, a few decent coffee shops, and a few decent bookstores in the terminal with multi-language books. Best of all, the airport has perhaps the most inexpensive airport hotel in Korea, if you want to spend 30 and get a REAL room (not an hourly deal). Daegu's airport hotel is very nice and they don't mind passengers bum napping on their sofas either. Daegu also sports the hottest hotties in Korea, who I enjoyed flirting with (Asiana counter girls are hotter than the Korean air ones but only slightly). I swear the Daegu airport hotel is used for more than just sleeping..."
