Good times

Incheon has consistently improved over the years, and the new terminal, which was opened recently, makes a nice addition. An underground train takes passengers to the new terminal. There are lots of places to eat and shop, and prices for food are high, but not outrageous and comparative to prices in Seoul. Shopping in the Incheon airport is ALL duty free and boutique shops...with prices a bit ridiculous. Yes, 15 for a cheap key-ring is just a tad too much. I would HIGHLY recommend the cultural activity for anyone who has enough time. Basically, passengers get to make a traditional Korean craft. Lots of fun, and the ladies who run it are very sweet. It is free of charge, and a really nice way to pass the time.

Not a bad place, but not great either

"First off I slept in the Transit Hotel for 2 reasons, One I could afford it U130 for 12 hours minimum plus U10/hr afterwards (I only needed it for 10

hours) and two all the benches in the Transit Area were taken by the time I got back.

This airport is great. Lots of space to sleep but everyone seems to know about it probably thanks to this site. These people came prepared with blankets and pillows. They were comfortable. And this area is upstairs away from the main traffic so it's very quiet.

There's a free internet cafe but it closes at 10pm. Lots of stores (rather

expensive) and restaurants. You can buy just Very clean airport. The massage and shower area is right next to benches in the Transit area.

If you can afford the Transit hotel is just down the hall from the Transit Area Benches. It's very clean, small room with a bed, TV, and a very clean bathroom with shower. They provide tooth brush, tooth paste, razor but no shaving gel. The upstairs restaurant us right outside the hotel entrance with a great view of the airport traffic below.

The transit area is excellent."

Um, you may want to rethink sleeping in this place

so, just how bad is this airport?
