"I finally waved a 100 dollar bill in his face and a stamp was smakked into my pass port allowing me to enter PY.He also gave me his phone number and told me to contact him if i had any problems and he would help me night or day." (Sebastian)

What you can look forward to:

  • security will make a mess of your nicely packed suitcase

"Had to write this review after reading the last one about being bribed by officials. I couldn't recognise the place from this review. Everyone was very friendly, they looked through my case but only cursorily. The immigration process took about a minute..with no bribe asked. The shoe shine boy did not rob me... I think the previous reviwer must have been drunk or paranoid. On arrival there's an ATM immediately after leaving customs. Don't take a taxi, there's a bus service 200 hundred yards away, at 2,500 guarani instead of 100,000. Gets to the city centre in about an hour. The information desk people very helpful and informative. Reasonable cafe, comfortable seats and even some sofas. I didn't sleep here, but found it a pleasant airport to arrive at, and to wait for a departure."
