A few airport reviews from the archives

I slept for a few hours at the Starbucks upstairs - I couldn't check-in and go through security until 3 hrs before my flight and I had an 11 hour lay-over. So I was stuck in the outer part of the airport. But, there was access to a Starbucks, which had huge comfy leather chairs. I bought a 4 euro drink and curled up in one of the armchairs to sleep. This was during the day, and though no one bothered me, I was a bit self-conscious sleeping when everyone else was awake and talking.

Stayed overnight in Dublin. It is cold so you should bring extra blankets. If you are going to sleep, go to the third floor and stake out a space by the starbucks. Although they try to kick you out around 11PM, you can return around 1am and its full of people.

There were dozens of people on the 3rd. Unfortunately for me, I spend most of the time of the 1st floor where it is very cold, security hassles you and there is absolutely nothing to do.

This airport is old and is being renovated. Bathrooms are gross, few, and ATMs are hard to find. Aside McDonalds, not much to eat. No free wifi.

If you have time, go into the city center using the cheap bus (41 or 746) but return early cause downtown dublin is sketchy. Would not sleep here again.
