"While traveling over spring break, with some classmates, we scheduled a 09:00 flight back to Madrid and decided that none of us wanted to pay for another night at a hotel or hostel. So, we decided to stay at the airport. We arrived at about 20:00 and quickly befriended a bartender. The bag check was located outside the airport in what appeared to be a parking lot, which was rather odd, but it was cheap. We located a area of cushioned benches on the second level just outside a lounge which was closed at night. We were not hassled by security personnel at all and the announcements were non-existent during the evening and since we were above the main area that cleaning staff was barely noticeable. "
