First time i took the plane from Beauvais, i thought it was a joke! true, the boarding zone was looking more like a tent from Elysee garden party!
But they made lots of work, and now it looks like a normal little aiport! It is modern, there are cafs and restaurants, Wifi, dutyfree shop, etc

True it is far from Paris center, but what the heck? You agree for it when you pay 1euro for a flight with Wizzair or Ryanair!

Other great advantage, for residents this time, parking is extremely cheap there, and it happened to me and my friends to travel there by car(4 of us is already profitable), to park and come back several days later. 4-5 days costs 50 euros, calculate what it would be for 4 personns to take return tickets with the shuttle bus(13 euros one way!)

Paris Beauvais is a misleading title. 80km outside of Paris and a monopoly on the buses to get there and back. Building closes at 11pm so be prepared to sleep outside-I wasn't. Fortunately I wasn't the only one and spent an interesting night in the cold (even in June) with 4 Swedes and a Canadian. Wouldn't sleep there again although there is a nice grass area to sleep and maybe even set up a tent-not sure how security would react though.
