"I will keep this review short so that people bother to read it. Keflavik Airport is the worst airport I ever slept in due to the security personnel that acts like they had been working in Abu Ghraib before.
23:00 I was told not to sleep on my air mat 23:20 told not to lie on the floor at all 24:00 told: "This is not a sleeping facility. YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO CLOSE YOUR EYES!"
24:15 Somebody else was asleep when they returned so we all had to leave.
After we moved to the main lobby, they returned every 30 minutes to wake people up and gave out final warnings. At around 02:30 some people were told to leave. "YOU CAN CAMP OUTSIDE BUT NOT SLEEP INSIDE". In storm and rain, with no tent?
Nobody slept that night.
Surprisingly, the shop in the airport was open all night, which leads one to the suspicion that only awake visitors are potential clients and welcome in Iceland.
The way in which people (even kids and old folks) were treated there is inhuman. Everyone leaves tired, angry and disappointed. Is that how Iceland wants to be remembered?"
