WARSAW (Train Station), Poland

"Worst Train Station on the entire planet in my opinion." (?)
"the place is terrible and scary. I am quite an experienced traveller originally from Minsk but I have never seen such an awful place in my life" (?)
"It seems the Cold War has never ended in Polish train and bus stations, and the cheerful and optimistic atmosphere which has spread thoughout this wonderful country has yet to reach the public transportation system." (Milosz)
"I saw many many times people arguing, attacking each other." (Monika)

What you can look forward to:

  • filthy
  • loud announcements
  • pay toilets
  • dangerous
  • full of drunks and homeless people
  • limited seating
  • hard benches
  • dirty floor
  • "waiting lounge" on the 2nd floor

"All Year Long - HEJ! I am living in Warsaw and I would NEVER EVER recommend somebody sleeping there on railway station. Police exist there but is trying to be unvisible. No place to sit, eat anything or take a shower. I saw many many times people argiung, attacking each other. I would never stay there during the night, it's really dangerous. Be carefull, there are some better places to spend the night, railway station is the worst choice ever! greets "
