(Contributed by Guy Turner) "I arrived on an Olympic Airways flight early in the morning.
In the arrivals terminal there is a bank and a small general shop. Outside there is another bank, another newspaper / chocolate shop and aN EXPENSIVE buffet bar - Orange juice Was CYP 2.10 (EURO 4.00)!!!
Upstairs is a cafeteria. The toilets look clean but are very smelly.
It was a public holiday and there were no buses - only eager looking taxi drivers.
The airport is a very long walk south of Larnaca." Added 30 July 2006

If you start walking toward the city do NOT give up 3/4 of the way (like I did) when you see a wide curve going to the left as you are only a little ways before Larnaca. That curve will turn again to the right and straight into Larnaca. Actually it is not a long walk at all unless you have a lot of bags. I'd say it takes about 20 minutes at a regular pace and it's well worth the savings of CYP15.00 for a five-minute taxi ride. About the airport, I did not feel comfortable trying to lie down on one of the the armless chairs as there weren't so many and they were too exposed and people were always coming to sit on them."
