Suerte.
Boston - ..... Huguito January, 2010 no too good I had to overnight in Boston Logan having a flight from Miami late in the night and a connection to London the day after.
I stayed on the ground floor (baggage claim area).
The positive thing is that nobody bothered me. However, the music and advertisements were very loud throughout the night, and all chairs had armrests, which made them useless. So I had to sleep on the floor.
Boston - A ..... Glounette January, 2010 Didn't get much sleep We arrived at 11:30 and everything was already closed in Terminal A. We had to go all the way to Terminal E to find a Dunkin' Donuts and a Newsstand opened all night. Bought Oreos and Pringles, then went back to our Terminal to sleep.
Chairs have armrests, so I settled on the floor.
Lights are only reduced between 12AM and approximately 2am, it's cold, clean-people are over-cleaning the already super clean floor, the radio is loud and they keep annoucing stuff even though the Terminal is empty.
I only slept for 40 minutes, but was really tired.
Boston - Logan ..... golfangellee December, 2009 Super Service I lost my cellphone at the airport. When it was turned into lost and found, they took the time to start calling numbers in my address book and learned from my son where I was flying. They told him the phone was in lost and found and could be recovered. Since I was already at the gate, it was impossible to get back to lost and found. The next thing I knew, I was being paged at my gate, and there was a smiling state trooper who asked me if I owned a cell phone. He then held it up and said 'is this yours?' On a busy holiday week I thought this was exceptional, superior service and would like to thank all the airport people involved.
Boston Logan - ..... winetraveller September, 2009 Rocked to sleep I landed late last night at Logan after flying in from Vegas, and was due to fly out early the next morning to New York, so decided to airport camp. Due to the fact that I did not land until 1.30am all the usual corners and spots were taken. The place I headed for first was the small food court in Terminal C where there are a couple of nice couches, but they were gone already. I wandered over to Terminal A along a passage that has a lot of rocking chairs looking out onto the curtain. I passed through and went to terminal A and B but came back to the rocking chairs. Although you can't lie flat if you position yourself across two it's pretty comfortable. Additionally there is no music blaring from speakers and very little in the way of traffic.
boston - boston logan ..... ann May, 2009 security not nice Airport is clean. But the officer who check curry-on suitcases are bad. They almost take everything (include underwear) out from my suitcase that I spend a long time to set it. After 15 minutes for searching without apology to destroy my suitcase and my time.
republic - ..... tandypandy July, 1988 You slept in the Boston Airport!?@? One time my husband and I took a woman home to Boston Mass. She made this trip a nightmare for us. We could only travel 8am to 5 pm. My husband drove her R.V. She set up front with him and was bugging him every minute. See we thought oh we will drive straight up and straight back and be back in a few days and enjoy the rest of our vacation. We thought she would ride in the back and sleep at night while we drove but nooooooooo. We could only drive day time and had to stay at campgrounds at night. Then OMG we got to the peoples house where she was going and I was freaked out. I told them I was not staying there. I swear the man of the house was in the mafia or something and made them take us to the airport. Well we ended up sleeping in the childrens play area. Then when we told our family and friends they thought we were nuts for sleeping in the Boston Airport. But I really felt safer ther...
boston massachusetts - bus station ..... sergein April, 2009 boston bus station i did an allnighter in boston recently and could choose between south station train or bus station. I chose the bus station as it was marginally warmer and the train station seats were those wire mesh things and looked very uncomfortable. At about 11 PM a guard checks out everyone: he was friendly, but i had to show a ticket (i didn't have a bus ticket, but had a train ticket leaving early the next morning). He also asked if i had come in with a bus, and assumed that i had (although the labels on my bags were actually airline labels). So you gotta have a ticket leaving for somewhere in the morning. The seats were (just barely) ok, and i got some sleep. There's an all night MacDonalds and very clean bathrooms. It's quite a clean & civilized place (largely because they through out all the strteet people at 11 PM). I left at 4 AM to go to the train station and it was totally locked u -- alt...
Boston - Logan ..... Orc Level 1 March, 2009 Cheap Digs in Boston Logan Had an overnight transit here on the way back from Keflavik, Iceland. In the name of cheap tickets, my itinerary took me from Iceland to Boston to O'Hare to SeaTac to Salt Lake to home, over the course of two and a half days. Absolutely ludicrous, but there you are.
Terminal E, the quietest section of the airport, is well-suited for sleeping, but devoid of decent food. I hoofed it over to Terminal B, and found an Au Bon Pain, a great chain of sandwich shops.
On my way back, I stopped in the chapel for a prayer, it being Sunday. It's a Christian chapel, but very beautiful and quiet--people of all faiths would feel comfortable there, and perhaps a bit of sleep could be had if you're stealthy.
As for me, however, Terminal E was enough. The chairs were comfortable, but had armrests--some didn't, but were taken--so I sprawled out as best I could and drifted off. It's empty and relati...
Boston - B and C ..... TimDog April, 2008 A long datime wait. A morning check in at terminal B for an evening flight meant I had time to get downtown for a few hours (2 each way) with a fee shuttle to the T (Mass transit) station. There is a quiet walkway to terminal C with a great Legal Sea Food restaurant. There is also a smaller one in B. The walkway makes a great place to chill with a book as there are a dozen or so rocking chairs spaced out over about 100 yards and can be moved to power outlet for laptop use. I have never seen all the chairs in use....I have never seen more than 4 in use, and you can sleep with feet up on one quite comfortably. There is some passing traffic, mainly officials and workers in terminals B and C but the area is quiet and temperature controlled. Cool in summer and warm in winter. I have NOT slept overnight but would do so if needed. Nearby bathrooms are regularly cleaned and odor free.
Airside most seats have arm...
