"No seats, shouting, pushing, shoving - worse even
than the China-HK border on Christmas Day." (krys_k)
"we went straight to the pub which is without a doubt the best
place to relax in this airport. It is behind a non-descript unmarked
door(there are no signs that say, "the bar is this way" in a muslim
country)." (?)
"Whenever at Bahrain airport you will encounter droves of either overly
excited Indian screaming as their friends/relatives arrive or witness overall
emotional good byes. (Adrian Newark)
What you can look forward to:
bathrooms were clean
limited seating with armrests
noisy or quiet (depending who you speak to)
24 hour duty free and coffee shop
business center with internet access

"Tyson Dangerfield on gulf air flight attendants is severely
misinformed. The crew get a lot more than 400bd a month. Food
allowances are given, hourly rates are also given, among several
other allowances. Their accommodation in bahrain is usually first
class with great amenities. Just ask the sky chefs, and sober
flight attendants."
