I arrived in Houston at about 8pm to find everything-EVERYTHING-was closing up shop. Be sure to have some snacks with you because I don't think there is anything open again until 5am (McDonalds). My connecting flight boarded at 6am, so I spent the whole night in the airport.

The airport was very chilly, but perhaps that was because of the weather outside, 40F, which I think is rather cold for Houston? It is very clean and there are lots of cleaning people about all night, but they won't bother you. I slept on the floor behind some chairs in between the gates and the concourse. I saw a couple other people around resting too. The bathrooms are clean but I don't think there are showers available anywhere. Announcements are LOUD and go on all night. Usually I can sleep anywhere, but I had trouble at Houston-mostly because I was freezing cold!

There is WiFi, but it's 8 a day to connect. A little trick I found. . . try to sit near the first class lounge and you can connect to their WiFi service for free (although the signal won't be 100).

the announcement are incredibly annoying...all night long. The security woke me up by kicking my backpack (which was my pillow). The seat are very uncomfortable, so we finish the night on a carpet used for the first class of air Canada...
