"On a trip up to Northern California, I had a bus holdover at the Stockton Greyhound station somewhere near midnight; my bus was coming at about 4 AM. When I arrived, I found that I was the only one to get off the bus. The station was closed, and the only refuge I could find was outside the door of the bus station. I set my bag down and took a nap on the concrete, which is my only complaint, no benches or plant beds to sleep in. It was summer so I didn't find the weather too terrible, a bit humid. Another plus was that it was pretty quiet, the only company I had was the occasional homeless person wandering by. I did get about two and a half hours of sleep, but was rudely awakened by a busload of people stampeding past. I rate the locale as a decent place to sleep, though it isn't in the greatest area, has minimal security, and there are no bushes or benches in which to sleep."
